The brown bean
We move ever closer to a potential coffee-roasting collaboration. August may well be the month that finally swings us towards an involvement of sorts, and excitement is beginning to mount. Just two days ago I burned some pine nuts whilst trying to toast them, and I swear they looked like dinky coffee beans! It was as much as I could do to stop myself hyper-ventilating.
In other affairs, the Conservative canditate for the island was cruelly flogged and made to eat his manifesto. I hate to be seen as the instigator, but it's fair to say there would have been no trouble if I hadn't flipped. We eagerly await the Lib Dem and the Labour candidates...
The sunflowers have sprouted, as has the rucola! Small blessings in a dirty world.
