Cross-cultural works

I have been to two mosques today. This island can be likened to a Tardis, small on the outside but deceptively large inside. A local Imam requested that a representative of the monastery meet him to discuss youth outreach and how we can work together to stop the vandal element of the island destroying public property. We met at his place of worship and then set off to the other side of the island to meet his fellow Imam of the second mosque, and we believe we have formulated a worthwhile plan to combat the sheer lack of availability of any activity for the youth. As things stand we expect to start a Youth XV rugby team to play in the mainland league Division 12 South West second-string. We are looking to the experience of a retired PE teacher we have on the island to train and tame our youthful mob. We hope to reap a bountiful harvest from these wayward waifs and strays, perhaps benefitting the island immeasurably in the future.

For now we can at least pray that they emulate our boys in red who battered England into submission on Saturday last. How drunk we were! Celebrations of a like I had never seen accompanied the victory, the local pub running out of beer in the process. The day will live long in the memory, of that I have no doubt. To round-up this entry I suggest we all meditate this evening on the ineffability of the Good Lord and His blatantly Welsh leanings. Amen!

Praise be!

We have functionability!

I'm going to pick some Burdock from our freezing-cold greenhouse. Later today I will attempt to relay some information to you all.

This really is a momentuous week!
